About your itinerary

This tailor-made journey blends the best of Tanzania’s iconic wildlife with time to unwind on Zanzibar’s serene beaches. Your adventure begins with a private guide from Wildersun Safaris and takes you straight into the heart of Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobabs and large elephant herds. You’ll spend two nights at the lovely Nasikia Ndovu Tented Lodge, perfectly placed for intimate wildlife encounters.

From there, head to the lush highlands of Karatu, where you’ll enjoy a stay at Kitela Lodge and an optional guided coffee walk. A full-day excursion into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater offers unmatched chances to spot the Big Five.

Your safari continues in the Central Serengeti and Ndutu area, where you’ll stay at the authentic Serengeti Wilderness Camp — ideally located during the calving season. Expect exceptional game viewing in one of the richest wildlife regions on the continent.

Finally, fly off to Zanzibar for four nights at the laid-back Pongwe Beach Hotel, staying in a beachfront room. It’s the perfect place to relax, reflect and enjoy the Indian Ocean before your journey home.
